Anthony Fantano breaks down the Fiasco that is LASERS. My opinion: Lupe should have pulled the plug on himself. Where is Soundtrakk?! I don’t even think the people who requested him to make this type of music even liked this album. A return to the independent scene will rejuvenate him for sure. More Soundtrakk please.

Anthony Fantano of TheNeedleDrop.com is an album reviewer that I have huge respect for. He is very articulate with his critiques and puts on a lot of the great music that people may or may not have been sleeping on (kinda like BackToPluto!). His most recent review is on LA collective Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All’s de facto leader Tyler, The Creator’s album, Bastard. While a great breakdown of the record, Fantano also basically sums up the overall atmosphere of the Hip Hop scene this year.
