I don’t even think the people who requested him to make this type of music even liked this album. A return to the independent scene will rejuvenate him for sure. More Soundtrakk please.
Child Rebel Soldier strikes yet again! It seems like Lu, P, & Ye converge only for special occasions now; this time being Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Fridays. All three hold their own very well in a fast paced back-to-back verse exchange over a horn-filled cow bell-laden bouncer of a beat. N.E.R.D.’s Nothing drops tentatively on November 4th; Lupe’s L.A.S.E.R.S. was recently given a March 8th release date; & the Louis Vuitton Don’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is scheduled to drop November 22nd.
